Secretly, I’ve always wanted to be on the stage but never quite had the talent to make it, until now! Well not exactly on the stage, but thanks to the guys at Represented Talent, my portrait photography occupies the full back page of The Stage newspaper this week. Check out the amazingly talented people they commissioned me to photograph, see behind the scenes and find how, national treasure, Bobby Ball, ended up in my studio
Creative Director, Steve Leatham, said: “This August, we embarked on the multi-platform launch of our new talent management company (Represented Talent), and it was hugely important to create a lasting and quality first impression. After researching heavily, I came to the decision that we had to work with Colin Boulter and his team, as his imaginative and subtle use of light was perfect for the images we wanted for our stable of performers. Colin was commissioned for three initial photo shoots, two in Manchester and one in Milton Keynes, and his images are now published on the back page of The Stage, and featured as part of our launch campaign. It was amazing to be commissioned by the Ted to help them launch their new artiste management company – Represented Talent. Working with such talented people really makes our job so much easier because these guys know how to perform in front of camera and are great fun to work with On all 3 shoots on all locations we never stopped laughing especially when national treasure, Bobby Ball, popped into our studio at The Sharp Project to say high to his sons, The Harper Brothers. We are now chomping at the bit to work with these guys again because they are totally professional and well organised and this makes shooting with them so much fun.
