Colin is a brilliant professional and a true artist. He took the time to know me and understand my needs and goals, made me feel at ease and during the photo shoot knew exactly what to say to get the best out of me. One can really see that he does care a lot about the final product. I can honestly say that not only I got amazing headshots but this experience made me feel even more confident as an actor. I’m so pleased that I got in touch with Colin for my Headshots. His stuff stood out from the rest as all of his shots were original, bold and effective. I was with him for 2 hours and had such a relaxed, fun afternoon in a perfect environment for getting some natural pictures at an incredibly affordable rate.

Colin is not only an incredible photographer, but an absolute blast to shoot with! I was at his studio a whole afternoon and I never stopped laughing. He makes you feel comfortable and gives great direction. As an actress you’d think I love having my photo taken – well I don’t!! But with Colin it was fun! He chatted about everything and why he was taking a photograph in a particular way. His amazing eye for light and colour brings your essence out through the shot, giving you a headshot that not only looks great, but speaks to what makes you uniquely you ! Nothing was too much trouble and importantly, Colin never rushed you if you needed to make changes with hair and makeup! I love my new Spotlight pictures! Can’t recommend him enough!
Having spent the last 5 years in front of a tv camera it has become second nature to me, but I still don’t feel comfortable having a still picture taken. Going to Neilson Reeves and working with Colin though was great. Colin was patient and explained everything that we would do together before the shoot began we discussed looks, outfit changes and shots that I wanted and then we went to work.
Feeling uncomfortable for me in front of a stills camera I found it difficult to become relaxed but Colin talked me through the early stages of the shoot and by the end when the banter was flowing I was so relaxed I didn’t even notice that was Colin taking the pictures, and those pictures turned out to be the best photographs of me iv ever seen. A really productive and enjoyable day with a top man who makes the whole process seem simple and fluid is just par for the course with Neilson Reeves and Colin
Having spent almost twelve months trying to find the right photographer for my shoot I saw one of Colin’s photos and just had to find him. My agent wanted a softer look however this was not being captured on photographs. I knew instantly Colin was the best photographer to achieve the look I needed. Having chatted to him on the phone his professionalism shone through.
On the day I was made to feel a million dollars and the shoot was really relaxed and fun. With great enthusiasm Colin used natural light and styling to achieve different looks that even surprised me. I have done many shots with many photographers but Colin’s pictures are truly the best. He is a very charismatic and an extremely talented guy. I won’t be letting anyone else do my headshots from now on.
